As I sit here, I wonder, "Since everything has changed with my life, what am I going to do with it now?" How did I get to this place? Why does everything turn out the way it did?
Who am I now? In the world's eyes, I am no one. I am nothing. No house, no job, I'm not even married. I haven't accomplished much. Businesses I have tried have failed. I cannot be left alone in the kitchen because I might burn something. I have disappointed everyone,...or "have I?"
What does it really mean to do well in life anyway? Is it the clothes you wear? Is it the people you're around? No, it isn't!
Life is a choice, period! The only one who has control over what happens and what you feel is you; no one else!
What makes us react the way we do? Most likely it is the way that you were raised. Brought up to believe in a certain way that everything around you is the norm. This is the way life is supposed to be, right?
Certain expectations are put upon us as children. Some are accidentally, others... are deliberate.
Our world is mixed up with different expectations that have been weighed on us, and when we go out in the world we take this weight and place it on others. We do this because in our minds we "think" that what we have learned is correct, and everything else is wrong.
What does Jesus have to say about this? He said, "Take my yoke upon you for my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:29)
Jesus wants us to be free! He does not want us to be burdened with anything, Period!
Why would Jesus pay the ultimate price if all He got in return was for us to be “partly” free? Does that make any sense? When a lawyer stands in front of the courtroom for you, what is “he” fighting for? Is it for a “little” bit of freedom or the whole enchilada?
When we fell in the Garden of Eden there is SO much that we lost as human beings. There were all kinds of shackles being placed on us, fear, anger, sin, wrath, confusion, not knowing who we were anymore, and most of all, being set apart AWAY FROM GOD!
That was the Ultimate Price for falling! We lost relationship with Him! That is what Jesus died for right! To Be Completely with You, and…for YOU…TO BE FREE!
So, what does that mean for us now? Are we going to “accept” His freedom, and experience what it “truly” means to be free,…or are we going to take the “economy package?” Where we only receive “part” of God’s meaning of “freedom?”
It’s YOUR choice what you decide! He’s done the rest! What will you do? Believe and receive, or doubt and miss out?! “Now what” are you going to do!? I hope you choose Freedom! That is what I have picked too! :-)
May this message Be a Blessing in Your Lives and Mine!!! :-)
